James Crosbie has worked in the shipyards of Glasgow and spent time in the RAF, but the draw of crime has kept him from leading a straight life. He was born into abject poverty, and soon realised that to have something was better than to have nothing - and knowing no other way of obtaining more, he did so through crime.
