CB Fry was a phenomenon, possibly the greatest sportsman of all time. He batted alongside WG Grace and Ranjitsinhji and captained England without loosing a Test. He also played soccer for England, and reached the FA Cup Final with Southampton. At rugby he played for Oxford, Blackheath and the Barbarians, and could have played for England. He missed out on winning gold medals at the Olympics of 1896 and 1900 but held the world long-jump record. He was also a scholar at Oxford, a writer of novels and journalism too as well as being offered the throne of Albania! His story is one that inspires, touches and thrills.
