Synopsis
Gorgeous Cassie Sumner has experienced more in her 25 years than most people do in a lifetime. The stunning model was one of the stars of the hugely popular TV show WAGs Boutique and was recently voted 'Most Popular Celebrity Babe' by the News of the World, beating the likes of Angelina Jolie and Kelly Brook to the title. Yet there is a lot more to Cassie than meets the eye and, as her intimate autobiography shows, she has had to deal with her fair share of turmoil, hardship and heartbreak. When she was just 18 years old every young girl's dream came true for Cassie when a model scout spotted her. A natural in front of the camera, it wasn't long before she was causing a stir with her appearances on Page 3. She was soon a familiar face on London's party scene and became increasingly captivated with the decadent lifestyle and all that it brought with it. On the face of it, she was living a dream life, partying with Eminem, 50 Cent and Pharrell but, underneath the glitz, she discovered a world where vice, drugs and debauchery were rife. Cassie's own fall from cover girl into a life of decadence hit here hard. She became immersed in a disturbing lifestyle where she became hooked on drugs and came into contact with escorts who tried to tempt her into their trade. Without help and guidance from the very industry that made her, Cassie's life had quickly spiralled out of control. She found an unlikely saviour in the form of footballer Celestine Babayaro who helped her back into her modelling career and living a fulfilling life once more. This revealing and gripping autobiography leaves no stone of Cassie's remarkable life unturned. She does not hold back and describes in detail her distress at being separated from her father when she was a child, her two suicide attempts and her liaisons with numerous high-profile stars including Russell Brand, Emmerdale's Ben Freeman and James Hewitt. She also tells the full, true story of her relationship with footballer Michael Essien and how after she fell pregnant with his child, he broke her heart. Packed with colourful celebrity anecdotes, real-life stories of adversity as well as fascinating tales from the world of modelling, this book will enthral you from the word go. It is the amazing true story of how one woman has reached the height of success, witnessed the darker side of life that it can bring and brought herself back from the edge. Today, Cassie feels compelled to bravely speak the truth.
