50 years ago Christine Keeler, a woman as synomyous with the sexual revolution as the pill, was involved in the Profumo affair, an event which shook the mation and brought down a government. At the time, Keeler was castigated for her role, but as Tanya Gold points out in her review, it is difficult now not to look back with anger and sympathy at the way she was treated by the male-dominated society of the day.

Christine has finally been able to offer her side of the story, and in Secrets and Lies she is finally able to offer the truth and nothing but in what is, without doubt, one of the most shocking and fascinating political stories of the modern age.

And tomorrow, don't miss the Daily Mail, who are running an exclusive interview with Christine Keeler - talking about the book, and giving fascinating insights into what life is now like for the women who was once one of the most famous and sought after people in Britain. And if you're inrigued, the whole story can be found in Secrets and Lies now.
