My name's Jane Couch - you've probably heard of me. I was raised on the streets of Fleetwood, and that's where I learned my trade. Some people say it's no trade for a woman: I'd like to disagree. Before I threw my first legalised punch, I did my fighting on the streets. I drank, smoked, took drugs - everything. I was out of control. Turning professional was the key to everything. But there's more to me than just boxing. Above everything else, I'm a woman, with the same feelings and insecurities as any other. That's what my book is about - fighting to be a woman in a man's world.'
