The John Blake Ltd Team is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted by The Independent Publishers Guild for Trade Publisher of the Year 2013. We would like to thank all of our authors, friends and colleagues who have helped make 2012 successful and contributed to our nomination.

The IPG Independent Publishing Awards are run in association with The Bookseller and The London Book Fair. The judges commented: 

John Blake Publishing is listed after a year that saw it embrace ebooks and produce sales to rival those of many much larger publishers. Judges said its shift to digital, with the help of Faber Factory, had been backed by strong marketing and social media work - all the while retaining its reputation for being fast off the mark with topical books. John Blake has had a Damascene conversion to digital and is now punching way above its weight there.

The winner will be announce on March 7th.
