Henry Cooper

By Chris - 18-05-2012 Rating:
Britsh heavyweight boxing has not had its finest last couple of years with controversy - not least David Haye's unseemly scuffle with Dereck Chisora during a post-match press conference - often overshadowing the talent that we have. However, none of the current crop could hold a candle, inside or outside of the ring, to Henry Cooper.

'Enry was possibly the greatest, and certainly one of the best loved, heavyweight boxers Britain has ever produced, and his death last year prompted warm tributes from the sport's greatest legends, not least Muhammad Ali. Henry fought Ali twice, once knocking him down and both times being ahead on the scorecards before nasty cuts forced the halting of the match. Despite losing both of those fights though, Cooper fought and beat most of the true boxing legends of the era that was probably the greatest of all time.

Henry Cooper's authorised biography tells his whole story from start to finish, from growing up in a council house with his twin brother, through his fantastic career, to his knighthood and beyond. To read the true story behind a beloved boxing legend, order your copy here today.
