On May 6th 1903, ten men sat down to dinner at the CafT Royal in London and started a ski club. It would become the most famous in the world - the Ski Club of Great Britain. In those days, to the British, skiing was little more than a slightly odd sport practiced by English eccentrics. Over the years, the Ski Club has collected the most fascinating, amusing and downright weird anecdotes of the Brits on the slopes.
