From the dawn of time (or at least since Jaws) man has feared the Shark. We may be the masters of the land - but we know our place in the water! And a shocking new book from Sue Blackhall (wonderfully reviewed here in the Daily Mail) has brought to light something we should all be worried by... that there might be a new breed of super shark developing that is more aggressive and might just have a taste for human flesh.
Killers in the Water is a provocative and humorous book which details dozens of fatal and non-fatal shark attacks, asking important questions about why there are more and more shark attacks happening every year, and why there isn't more being made of this in the press and by our governments.
If you want a book to read this summer (on the beach?) then this book is a great one - filled with gory detail and analysis from the experts. At the very least, this is definitely one book you want to read before going anywhere near the water again.

Great surf-side reading ... made me nervous putting a toe in the water though!
